Hi friends! It was a late night yesterday so I'm late getting today's post up! I'll make it quick since James is home from school today and we get a play day! I was asking him what he wanted to do today, maybe go to the pool, but he said no. His first request was to play on the iPad (boo!), but then I suggested coloring Easter eggs and doing an early egg hunt and he's totally into that! Yay! He said he'll search online for cool ways to color eggs and I had to laugh because that's what I have for you today! Ten awesome ways to decorate your Easter eggs this year!
We usually stick to the old school drop the colored tablet into vinegar method and the kids always have fun doing this, but there's so much more you can do! Last year, we did shaving cream eggs and that was super fun, albeit messy. It created really pretty marbled eggs. We followed the tutorial by Crafty Morning.
And we also did Star Wars eggs one year, inspired by Sarah at Frugal Fun for Boys and Girls. We followed her easy directions and my son used my thin markers to create his Star Wars characters. We did them on faux eggs, so they are still floating around here somewhere! This one is super fun for any Force lovers out there.
It's Always Autumn has a really cool tissue paper egg tutorial on her blog and a video of the process. She even says it's not that messy!
