Happy Superbowl weekend! Truth be told, I'm more about getting together with friends, indulging in chicken wings, dips and desserts and the halftime show and commercials more than the game. But it is exciting to have it in our hometown, even if we'll just be watching from home. I have some lucky friends going and I can't wait to hear about all the celebrity sightings! Even Martha Stewart will be there!
Our city is crazy with guests and don't even think about going to the Galleria or downtown unless you want to be shoulder-to-shoulder with everyone! If you happen to be visiting Houston, you can check out our favorite coffee spots or things to do with kids. We went to the NFL Experience downtown on Wednesday after school and it was really fun. It's a huge interactive set-up with lots of games, exhibits and play zones. I hear the food trucks and tents are amazing, but we didn't get to partake. Jordan didn't make it past 6 p.m. so she and I headed home early, but the boys stayed late and had a blast.
Today, I'm looking forward to Valentine's Day with three dressy casual outfits that you could wear on any weekend, but they are especially Valentine's Day friendly with a pop of pink. 💕
