I added my rolling calendar along with some white ceramic Christmas houses to the top of the table. I ran a garland through the little village and finished it off with some twinkling fairy lights that go on at night.
For the garland along the stairs, I combined a few different elements to get this look: flocked greenery, wood beads, chunky yarn, and bows made from used drop clothes...oh, and of course, warm white lights.
I love the simplicity of this going up the stairs even though there's quit a few elements going on!
Now for a room I have yet to share since the big cabinet painting night I had a few months back :) You probably don't recall what this bathroom looked like years ago, but it was a ugly :) ha! (check out the before here). Some molding and paint has helped a ton. I decided I wanted to add more details in here, and just love it! It's hard to photograph since it's so small. I added this ladder in here for a little different feel. I hung an old sign on it along with towels and some garland. And why not put a little Christmas tree in the bathroom? Yes... I know, there are many reasons why not, ha! I found a small one that didn't get in the way or too close to the bowl :)
My newest favorite addition to this bathroom are these pegs. I was going to wait to share this whole bathroom with you with full tutorials, but didn't want to miss sharing it's Christmas decor...heck, I already missed sharing the fall decor I had in here which was super cute too!
Now on to my master bathroom. I love this area, for obvious reasons :) It's got a super nice deep jetted tub that works wonders on sore muscles. Since I could spend hours in here at a time, I wanted to make it festive. I added some Christmas trees and a sign to the shelves, and lots of candles.
I know going all out and decorating your bathrooms for Christmas is not for everyone, but I tell you, it sure makes me smile :)

It's less than two weeks until Christmas! I wanted to share with you a couple of spots in my house that I don't share often before the season passes by.
First up is my Christmas entryway decor. These stairs have become a favorite of mine. Years ago, I was not a fan of the naked wood, but I have come to love it and it's character. It of course helped things tremendously when I added the diy board and batten along the stairs. Here's a peak at a new cabinet in that corner. That's a saga I'll share for another day :)
Coming into my home, this is the site that greets you. It's a narrow hall so hard to get a picture of. This table hides all my kids shoes. So, it's both functional and I try to make it pretty :)I added my rolling calendar along with some white ceramic Christmas houses to the top of the table. I ran a garland through the little village and finished it off with some twinkling fairy lights that go on at night.

Here's the bathroom with a little bit of glow. Also, one thing I learned years ago is to bring fresh greenery by your bathtub. It's amazing to smell it while taking a bath. Just add some Christmas music...and ice cream..and you'll be set!
Now for a little change I did in my living room for Christmas. I changed up my Christmas tree decor, just a bit. I wasn't happy with how it looked before and wanted to share it's updated look with you.
I switched out the flocked wire netting and added some softer garland made from $3 chunky yarn. Yes, I apparently love decorating with chunky yarn during Christmas :) You can find a similar look on the Christmas tree in my front living room (linked below).
Just this small swap made a big different in the look of the tree. It's so much softer looking now. The old look of the tree is just below at the bottom of this post along with the full tour of this room :)
I feel like I finally have all the kinks figured out with my Christmas decor, finally. It only took me 6 weeks :) Now I can just relax and enjoy the time and make some memories...and wish all the snow away. I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas home tours this year and hopefully got some inspiration for Christmas decor ideas for your home. You can check out the other room tours I have shared this season below :)
