Sir,

From July 2020, regular users of PLI Checker and PLI Checker Lite are having an error while uploading excel files downloaded from SAP (FAGLL03), even though they have entered the correct layout ('/SRJ_CUSTOM") while downloading the report. Please refer to the screenshot below.

Reason:

Usually the last column head in the excel file was "Account". But recently TCS changed it to "G/L Account". PLI Checker & PLI Checker Lite version 2.5.3 was released to handle this issue. But again, on 14.07.2020 TCS changed the column head to "Account".

Solution 1:

PLI Checker & PLI Checker Lite version 2.5.4 released in the following links. You can replace the exe file.

NB: When downloading, select "Latest exe" or "Latest exe - Google Drive Link" as shown below. Installing the entire application will only install an older version of the App. You still need to change the exe file to upgrade to the latest version. Furthermore if PLI Checker Lite users reinstall the Application using Installer, they might lose the office mapping data and you will need to map unmapped offices one more time, which will be cumbersome. 

Solution 2:

• Manually correct the last column head of the excel file
• For versions older than 2.5.3 last column head should be "Account".
• For version 2.5.3 last column head should be " G/L Account".
• From version 2.5.4 patched to accept both formats.

Issue 2: Symantec deletes exe file after download 

If the application is not very popular, Symantec will think the exe file is Virus and will delete as soon as you completes the download

Solution -1

• Change download location to another computer in your network using settings in your browser and download the file. 
• Then restart your PC. 
• As soon as your PC turned on copy and paste exe from the network location.

Solution - 2

• When downloading the latest exe, select "Latest exe - Google Drive Link", which will take you to Google Drive where the latest exe is uploaded.
• Symantec won't delete the file since Google Drive have its own Virus Scanners and it will allow only after scanning the exe

If Symantec blocks the app from running, please select "Allow this file" as shown below.
